Target Audience- For people that read books, listen to music and watch films. It is mainly for people that listen to rock music and alternative music, old and new. It is mostly for men aged 20-40.
USP- This magazine is unique and different because it has old and new music and that is a good spelling point.

Target Audience- People that are into rock music. It is mostly for teenagers and adults. It also is a unisex magazine and has new music in.
USP- This magazine is different as it is also a music guide and that may attract people into buying it as they might want to read a music guide.

1. What makes it effective?
It’s really effective because it has got a lot of information on. Also it has a lot of advertisements for tours etc. The colours that are used are really effective as they have used colours that compare well with the type of music which is used throughout the magazine.
2. How could it be more appealing to its target audience?
I don't think it could be anymore appealing as everything and more is on. I personally think it is very appealing and attractive.

It is effective because it has a lot of information on. The colours that are used throughout the website are very similar to the colours on the magazine.
2. How could it be more appealing to its target audience?
It would be more appealing to its target audience if it had more attractive colours other than just have a plain white background. Maybe if they introduced more colours into the website it would be more appealing to its target audience.

It has a lot of information on like the rest and it has a lot of pictures which makes the website very effective.

There is nothing that can be done to make the website more appealing as it has got everything which is needed to make it appealing.
-All of these magazines feature new albums and up and coming music. They all feature rock music and bands in their magazines. Most of the magazines have a lot of different music groups in.

Getting started
-The sub-genre of my magazine is going to be based on Chart Music.
-The basic concept idea behind my magazine is because I personally prefer chart music and i'm more familiar with this category of music as I listen to it.
-My intended audience is teenage or younger girls, aged 12 and above. The reason that I have chosen this target audience is because aged 12 and above is because that is the age that most people listen to chart music.

-I think my magazine will appeal to my intended audience because the music that is going to be in the magazine is chart music and thats the type of music that most young people listen to. I think the features that will appeal the most will probably be the front cover as I am going to make it very girly so that it will attract girls.- The name that I would like my magazine to be called is 'The Music Magazine- Girls Addition'. I think this is appropriate as it will attract girls because it says girls and I think it will stand out if it was on a magazine shelf.
-My magazine is will to be published every week. The reason for this is because if its published more often its more likely that it will become popular and more people will want to buy it. Also another reason to why I want to get it published every week is that every week magazine I want to have the top 10 songs etc.
-The price of my magazine is going to be £1.75. The reason that the magazine is going to be quite cheap is because I think it will attract more buyers, and as younger people don't have jobs the price of the magazine will still be in their price range. Also because its weekly it can't be too much as not much people will buy the magazine. But if its cheap then its more likely that more people will buy the magazine weekly. I think the cheaper that the magazine is the more buisness the magazine company will get.
-I am going to have an online edition as it makes the magazine popular and well known. The reason I want the magazine to be well known is because it will attract more people and everyone will be talking about it. If it doesn't have a web address it will not be a very trust worthy magazine. My web address will be www.themusicmagonline.com
- IPC Media is going to publish my magazine. The reason to why I want IPC to publish my magazine is because they have a wide range of different magazines, but they don't have much music magazines that they publish. So I think this company should publish my magazine as it may help with selling some of their other magazines and also it may help with getting other magazines to be published with IPC Media.
